Frans Hals retrospective exhibition at the National Gallery in 2023

Just announced: the first major retrospective of Frans Hals in over thirty years.
Opening in September 2023, this exhibition will showcase why he was one of the most sought-after painters of his generation. More than 50 of Hals’s finest works will be brought together, including the first-ever loan of his most famous painting, ‘The Laughing Cavalier‘, from The Wallace Collection.
